Barrel Serial # C0310727
At any given time, Buffalo Trace has 30,000+ barrels undergoing various experiments in their warehouse. This barrel was possibly being tested for the type of wood used (Marked “KY Wood”) but we will never know the specifics as the experiments are considered trade secrets. Filled in 2017 at the sprawling 130 acre distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky, this barrel could have been part of the now famous Warehouse X Experiments.
Ring Blanks are at least 1.25 inch square and .5 inch thick.
Pen Blanks are 6 inches long and at least .75 inches wide with char. Since the barrels are curved, the blanks are not fully squared. Makers will be able to produce 2 Sierra/Gatsby sized pens from one blank.
Each Ring and Pen Blank comes with a Numbered Certificate and Story Card for a polished final presentation of your product.
