For the puzzle fans out there! LOTS of pieces to this one...
The stripes for this US flag are a combination of red dyed curly maple (makes up the main barrel) and hard natural curly maple. For the stars we've got a piece of blue dyed curly maple and then small stars made from holly. (Don't worry, we always pack a few extras!)
Not the easiest to assemble, but well worth the effort! Comes drilled 27/64 for Liberty or Sierra style OR 3/8" for Coyote and Bolt Action pen kits. You'll need to determine what length you want to cut the red barrel down to before you glue it up with the blue stars area.
IMPORTANT TIP: To insert the stars, soak them in water for a bit before trying to fit them in the blue barrel. They won't go completely flush (that's OK!) but they'll go in a LOT easier if you soak them prior to trying to fit. Just be sure to let everything dry afterwards before you finish putting it together.
